Introducing Perry Sandow

With over 40 years of professional image making under his belt, Perth based still’s photographer Perry Sandow is returning to his roots.

Having worked as a press photographer and news cameraman through out the 1970’s, Perry started his own business Perry Film & TV Lighting in 1979 and spent the next decade as a gaffer on countless TV commercials, several feature films, numerous  television drama series and documentaries.

In the 1990’s Perry Sandow continued gaffing locally but also made moves internationally expanding services to Jakarta and Singapore.

For the last decade Perry has continued to build on a long and impressive career with a number of sucessful productions including feature films “Two Fists, One Heart”,  “Red Dog”, “These Final Hours”, “Kill Me Three Times”, “Lockie Leonard” (TV Series 1 & 2)  and doco-drama “The War That Changed Us”.

Having spent the last 30 years focusing on the moving image, Perry is now turning once again to his first love, the still image.  Through his photographic work under the banner of Bespoke Stills Studio, Perry’s unique style – at once bold yet subtle – still shines through.
